Electricity is a very important factor of our daily life. Now a days everything is electronic means depend on electricity. Back in 19's the use of electricity was not so normal people lived in villages and used lamps to get light. As we are developing our way of life is always also improving. when electricity was invented there was only to one way to obtain but now we can produce form different resources. so let's begin.
#1 Hydroelectricity:
Hydroelectricity it is also know as hydroelectric. Hydroelectric is a way to produce electricity by use the flow of water. usually the Hydro plants are planted near a waterfall or a stream to produce electricity. it is very useful way of generating electricity because it is a renewable source. There are three types of hydro plants 1)impoundment Facility 2) Diversion facility the third one is 3) pumped-storage facility. About 71% of renewable electricity used around the world is obtained by hydroelectric. China is the largest producer of hydroelectric.
#2 Natural Gas:
Natural gas is a fossil fuel as we all know fossil fuels takes million of years to develop. The use of natural gas began around 500B.C. Natural is obtained when the dead plants or animal decompose. Then those decomposed plants and animal react with carbon bond under high compression and high temperature and for methane. There are other gases that are formed with methane like Biogas, Deep natural gas, Shale, Tight gas and Methane hydrates. About 60% of fuel electricity is produce form Natural gas.
#3Wind Energy:
Wind is a perfect source for generating electricity because there is an unlimited source of wind which can not be depleted. wind use kinetic energy as every moving object have kinetic energy. To generate electricity from wind we use wind turbines when the wind flows it make the blades of turbine to spin which in return is connected to a rotor that spins the generator and in this way electricity is produced. Each turbine sits on and tower which is 80 meters long and each blade is about 40 meters long. About 250 watts to 7Mwatts energy is produced by wind turbines.
#4 Nuclear Energy:
Nuclear energy is the energy that is present in the core or nucleus of an atom. An atom is the smallest particle of a matter. To produce electricity form atom first we must we release it form the core which is a very expensive process this process is called Nuclear fission. To produce electricity we usually use uranium power plant are use for this process. The power plants are used to control the fusion of uranium this process is taken out in the forms of chain that's why it is called chain reactions. Countries like France, Slovakia, and Lithuania almost total electricity of country form Nuclear Energy
